Podcasts

Since the podcast started in 2010, our monthly editions have looked back at a series of matches. We like to reflect and look at a developing stories that develop over a few games, not pick every game to pieces.

The From the Rookery End podcasts are the hub of this site; all our previous podcasts are available here.

6.16 – Capoue’s off to school

In a shorter podcast, recorded directly after Watford 0-1 defeat to the Foxes, Jon, Jordi and Jason talk discuss the width in the Watford squad, plus we hear from Odion Ighalo as he takes part in a classic TV quiz!

6.15 – The Theatre of Streams

In the latest podcast we examine both games and look forward to the visit of Champions elect (?!) Leicester City. We also try to get to the bottom of our lack of goals, reveal our choice of Watford’s cult hero and wonder whether our beloved Watford could be an integral part of a new footballing world order…

6.14 – Let’s get ready to grumble

Things are going great… aren’t they? We wondered if we should stop and see if we are being taken away in this Premier League whirlwind – do we really have anything to grumble about?

6.13 – Bridget Jones in Goal

6.10 – Operation Elton’s Tears

The magic of the FA Cup. It doesn’t extend to Nottingham Forest stewards apparently. As we attempted to record, we were stopped in our tracks by a grumpy chap in a high vis jacket, making the Hornets’ last gasp winner all the sweeter…

6.9 – Don’t Panic Mr. Flores

It had to happen at some point didn’t it? The FTRE boys are back to look back on the Man City, Newcastle (FA Cup), Southampton, Swansea and Newcastle games where the Hornets got two wins, but only 3 Premier League points. Did the results tell the full story or how the Hornets are doing and how is the transfer window going?

6.8 – End of a Great Year

What a year it’s been to be a Watford fan. 2015 has given us so many great moments and we end it in the top half of the Premier League – it’s been quite a long journey.

6.7 – Live on the Radio

With Silver FM back on-air in the run up to Christmas, we decided to go on-air and do a LIVE podcast. The boys look back at the Man United, Norwich, Villa and Sunderland games, they ask if 7th is a true position for the Hornets and talk with Gifton Noel Williams and Allan Smart.
