Where there’s Watford FC, there’s From the Rookery End, so when we saw that Micharl Calvin’s new book “Living on the Volcano” featured no fewer than four former Hornets’ bosses, we knew we needed get in touch. In the latest of our ‘shorts’ series we enjoyed a fascinating chat with the author and journalist who has also recently penned critically acclaimed titles such as “Family” and “The Nowhere Men” During our chat we discuss the character traits of the likes of Kenny Jackett, Sean Dyche and Brendan Rodgers, hear Mike’s thoughts on the current situation at Vicarage Road as well as the state of football as a whole. Many Watford supporters will have disagreed with Mike, who by his own admission doesn’t agree with all the Pozzo family have done, but you can’t deny he knows his football and has some fascinating stories to tell. Enjoy.
