Podcasts

Since 2010, our podcasts have been our take on life as fans of Watford FC.

3.3 – Digger Donny and a few Defeats

This month Jon, Jason and Mike return with not only Martin Taylor’s final interview as a Watford player where he answers the toughest question FTRE have ever asked, but we launch the “Pozzo League” and Watford in 100 Objects returns. Oh and Watford legend John Barnes is on pod talking about two special objects for the list. Yes, John Barnes. Plus there are four defeats and a draw to talk about!

3.2 – Meet the Management

Watford fans still smarting from the last gasp defeat to Bradford City have something to take your mind off the Hornets Cup exit today, as the new episode of the ‘From the Rookery End’ podcast is released.

3.1 – Cautiously Optimistic

We are back for the third season of From The Rookery End podcast. Yes, it really has been that long! And as Watford start a new season, with a new manager, new owners and a new pitch, Jason, Mike and I chat about the flip-flopping exit of the previous owner Laurence Bassini. We hope this is the last time we mention him on a podcast.

2.11 – End of Season Awards 2011-12

It’s the end of the season and what an interesting season it has been for Watford fans. In the last podcast of the season Jason, Jon and Mike give out the From The Rookery End Awards which include a superhero, a spy and a friend of a physio. 2.9 – Congas and Comebacks

In the March 2012 FTRE podcast Jon, Mike and Jason chat about a great month and look ahead to the final 10 games. They’ve got a song for new fans favourite Sean Murray and as he returns from injury Stephen McGinn talks about his recovery. We also induct a Knight, a fanzine and some clean sheets into our WFC in 100 Objects!

2.8 – Onwards and Upwards

It’s been the most eventful month yet for Watford this season, so Jon, Mike and Jason have plenty to talk about. So much they had to get Watford Commentator Jon Marks and photographic Legend Alan Cozzi to join them to help. Lloyd Doyley is on taking on Mike as he prepares for his first testimonial event and Troy Deeney tells us how to deal with changing room banter.

2.7 – Live and Interactive… Sort of

With Watford vs Reading Live on the Telly and fans around the world watching, Jon, Jason and Mike thought to make the podcast live and interactive – sort of. You’ll hear the boys talk about the prospects of the transfer window (both ins and outs), the moments and games that you’ve missed due to strange […]
